Step 1:

Observe the water flow of gem nozzle. Open water flow at low pressure and observe. The water flow should be symmetrical and its width depends on the type of the nozzle used. The flow of the ruby and the sapphire nozzle is slightly wider; the flow of the diamond nozzle is narrower and more coherent. If the water flow starts widening, then indicates the nozzle damage, should be replaced immediately. Damaged nozzles (or misaligned pipes) will cause internal damage to the cutting head.

Step 2:

Regularly check cutting head for wear or signs of damage (often due to accidental contact with components or fixtures caused). For example, when the sand tube accidentally contacts the fixture will damage, the nozzle nut and internal parts of the mixing tube to keep alignment.

Step 3:

Inspect and replace the consumable parts of the sand delivery system regularly, such as pipes and joints.. Ensure that no parts of the sand delivery system below the bottom of the micro hopper are exposed to air. When this check, from the bottom of the micro hopper joint disconnect the sand delivery pipeline, manually open the jet and the thumb attached to the end of the sand transport pipeline. You will feel the vacuum exists (but not excess), which may make the thumb tip dented. The shortage of vacuum may indicate that the inlet of the cutting head is blocked, or the sand delivery pipeline has cracks, and must be solved to give full play to the efficiency of the system.
